Lisa A. Perry

Lisa Perry began working as a legal assistant for Attorney Jim Harrington Sr., in 1987, while she was still a student at the Greater Lowell Technical High School. Initially hired through the school’s co-op program as a part-time receptionist/secretary, Lisa continued working part-time, and then full-time, while continuing her education at Middlesex Community College where she earned her Associates Degree. In her 20 years working as a legal assistant/paralegal with Attorney Harrington, Sr., Lisa provided expert support in all areas of municipal law, probate and divorce law, personal injury law, and eventually developed a strong concentration in real estate law.

For many years running, first with Attorney Harrington, Sr., and then with Attorney Harrington, Jr., Lisa has been responsible for the administration of a high volume real estate practice. She has encountered just about every conceivable problem that a real estate closing can present. Lisa has administered the conveyancing practice through multiple market fluctuations, including real estate “boom” periods as well as those difficult periods when the housing market and lending industries are in great distress.

Having processed literally thousands of residential and commercial closings, Lisa’s experience is an invaluable service to the firm’s diverse real estate clients, which include many buyers, sellers, brokers, lenders and developers. Together with Jim, Lisa champions the firm’s policy of doing everything we can to not only make the closing happen, but make it as smooth as possible for the many parties involved. Lisa is also heavily involved in the firm’s estate planning practice.

Office Dog

Truman spends a couple of days in the office every week. If he finds the energy to pick himself off the nice cold floor in front of the refrigerator, he just might come out front to say hello. Truman is a well trained and extremely gentle Newfoundland.

Truman's specialty is entertaining realtors, buyers, sellers, attorneys and other visitors during real estate closings.

Outside of the office, Truman acts as a therapy dog, making regular weekly visits to various facilities.
