Attorney Harrington Suffolk University Law School in 1970, where he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Equity. He is also a 1963 graduate of Northeastern University. Attorney Harrington was in private practice in Chelmsford, MA from 1970 until semi-retiring in 2005. In addition to providing oversight to the associate attorneys in his firm, the Law Office of James M. Harrington, his own case load had focused on real estate conveyancing, residential and commercial land development, zoning, condominium law and other land use and lending issues. He served as Town Counsel of the Town of Chelmsford from 1977 to 1995, and continued as Sewer Counsel until 2005. He is best known for his vast experience in all aspects of municipal law, zoning and land use, representing builders and developers throughout the Merrimack Valley for decades. Attorney Harrington is consulted regularly in connection with municipal, zoning and land use matters.
